Matthew B. Tuohy
Matthew B. Tuohy is a partner in the law firm Palermo, Palermo & Tuohy, P.C., where he focuses on criminal defense. He graduated from the Widener School of Law in 1997. Following his graduation Mr. Tuohy joined the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County where he was employed as a public defender through 1998. He then joined the law firm of Stephen Cohen and Associates. Mr. Tuohy joined his current law firm in 1999 and quickly became a partner by 2000 due to his dynamic legal talent and vast experience in criminal defense.
Since joining the law firm in 1999 Mr. Tuohy has successfully represented thousands of people charged with crimes. He is experienced in all aspects of handling a criminal case including trials and plea negotiations. Mr. Tuohy has also successfully tried several important criminal cases receiving not guilty verdicts for his clients.
